I know there's this little sporting event which is rumoured to start later, but that's only going to last three weeks. The real news is that White City is published today, as in this morning, as in available now, on Kindle. Then it's yours to keep forever, and certainly longer than three weeks.
When you look back on this day you might well remember it as the beginning of the greatest sporting spectacle the country has ever seen, but you can now also say it was the day you discovered White City, a tale of excess and inebriation and dancing in fields.
